Mark Donohue works with text and speech from various languages to help contractors with their needs, involving identification, database construction and management, and consulting regarding language and language analysis. Donohue has previously been engaged by the Federal Police and other governmental agencies in Australia, legal firms in Western Australia, Victoria and New South Wales, and police departments from various states.
Dr Donohue has worked at three universities in Australia, and from 2011-2015 was funded by Australian Research Council as a Future Fellow, developing computational tools and methodologies to allow for principled, objective and quantified means of comparing language data.
His international collaborations extend to various countries in Asia, Europe and North America. Dr Donohue is a member of the International Association for Forensic Linguistics, as well as a number of other professional organisations related to language analysis.
